Meals On Wheels
Donations Needed!
The Meals On
Wheels program provides meals to persons 60 years of age or older,
who can no longer prepare well balanced meals for themselves.
The Meals On
Wheels program provided more than 110,000 nutritious meals last
year, to Senior Citizens throughout Franklin County, who can no
longer provide balanced meals for themselves. The volunteers that
deliver these meals daily always have a smile and a friendly word
for the participants of the Meals On Wheels Program. For a lot of
them this is the only company they receive throughout the day.
We Need Your Help!
To keep this program alive throughout Franklin County.
The Meals On
Wheels program is in need of new equipment, delivery bags, stoves,
freezers, refrigerators and etc….. We are not allowed to purchase
these items with our State or Federal funding; these funds are
strictly used for food, supplies and personnel expenses.
Won’t you
please send in a donation? Your Contribution will be going directly
to the program that provides hot nutritious meals to the elderly.
A donation is
a way of giving back to a generation that gave so much to us.
To show our
Appreciation everyone that sends in a donation will receive a “Meals
on Wheels” key chain wristband and a support “Meals On Wheels”
window decal.
Please send
your donation in a form of a check or money order, payable to:
Association Of Senior Citizens. Our address is: 125 Catherine
Street, P.O. Box 288, Malone, New York 12953.
Your donation,
no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and very
helpful.
