Imagine
being alone, recovering from an illness or surgery and are unable to
ensure adequate nutrition for yourself? You or someone you
love may also need minimal assistance with Housekeeping (light
cleaning, laundry, shopping) and/or Personal Care (bathing,
dressing, grooming). The Association of Senior Citizens in
Franklin County assist individuals age 60 and/ or those who are
disabled with these issues everyday.
The
Association of Senior Citizens, serve seniors age 60 and over, who
desire to remain independent but have difficulty meeting these daily
needs. Some utilize our service while recovering from illness or
surgery, others need meals indefinitely. Our clients require
consistent nutrition and desire quality, good tasting meals to
assist them remaining independent in their homes. YOUR
FINANCIAL HELP IS NEEDED TO MAINTAIN THESE PROGRAMS.
Donations
are a major source of program funding. You can help provide vital
financial support by paying tribute to a friend or relative with a
donation in their name. Make a donation to commemorate a special
occasion, birthday or anniversary. Sponsor a senior’s meals for a
month or a year with your donation or make a contribution to our
annual Walkathon Fundraiser.
You are
invited to support the Association of Senior Citizens in Franklin
County’s efforts by sending in a short letter with your name,
address and phone number along with a donation for any amount you
wish. Please note that the Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
corporation and as such that makes any contributions made by you
fully tax deductible. Donations should be made out to
