FRANKLIN COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  AFFORDABLE RATES!

$2.00 one-way trip within town of origin 

$2.00 one-way trip for rural routes

 

$3.00 One-way trip for Adirondack Route from Malone to

Lake Placid seven days a week

 

 

Seniors (60+) and Disabled (All one-way Trips) $1.00

 

 

Franklin County is providing public transportation service within northern and southern Franklin County. This transportation service is available for shopping, employment,

medical, educational and miscellaneous needs.

To receive scheduling information within Northern Franklin County, call 518-483-9000.

Monday through Friday - 7am to 6pm.  Saturday - 8am to 4pm.  No reservations needed for scheduled stops.  Reservations for demand pick-ups must be made 24 hours in advance

* No in town service on Sunday.

In the Southern part of Franklin County, bus service is provided within Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, and Lake Placid with three round trips a day, Monday through Friday.  Saturday and Sunday service is available with a morning and afternoon round trip.  There is no night service on Saturday and Sunday.  We offer a later Tupper Lake shuttle bus from 8am to 1pm.  Saranac Lake offers demand service from 7:30am to 5:30pm with service to Lake Placid and connections to Tupper Lake and Malone.

Adirondack Route connects the northern and southern ends of Franklin County. This route provides three round trips a day, seven days a week between Malone and Lake Placid.
