Senior Celebration

at Gallagher’s Restaurant in Malone

Doors open at 9:00am with music starting at 10:00am

lunch at 12:00noon

 There will be a 50/50 raffle and gift giveaways!

Menu will be ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, tossed salad & rolls, dessert with coffee, tea or milk.

                        Cost will be $10.00 per person

Must make reservations at your local adult center, social club or by calling Annette at 481-1115. Can only accept 140 reservations. Please reserve early.  May pay in advance or at the door.

 

Senior Picnic

Wednesday July 22, 2009

at Seller’s Field in Burke

This is open to the public. Seniors 60 and over is a suggested donation of $2.00 each and a charge of $6.00 for anyone under age 60. There will be a picnic style lunch at 12:00 noon.

Hot dogs, michigans, hamburgers, salads, desserts and beverages. 

There will be a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction along with music for entertainment. Must sign up at your local adult center or by calling Annette at 481-1115.

The Association of Senior Citizens in Franklin County, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose goal is to improve the quality of life for the elderly in Franklin County. 

It is the mission of the Association to assist the senior population in remaining independent, in a healthy, clean and safe environment for as long as safely possible.  With this mission as their goal, the staff of the Association pledges to work diligently in identifying the unmet needs faced by the senior population; then to provide information and linkages to benefit services, for which they may be entitled to meet these unmet needs. 

The local Adult Centers serve as focal point within their communities for the provision of services to the elderly. 

The Association works in conjunction with the Franklin County Office for the Aging to monitor and supervise the program and services provided to the elderly of the county are done so with the highest quality and compassion.
